Hi everyone! According to my mom, it has come that time in my life where I need to buy trousers. With college interviews, job interviews, internship interviews, oh and did I mention scholarship interviews; I wanted to find a way to take the trouser pant and make it stylish. There was no way I was going to wear a white button down with a pair of black trousers, it’s so not me. The first thing someone notices when you walk in for an interview is your clothing so you want it to give off the correct impression you’re going for. Recently I bought three pairs of trouser pants. In this post and the two to follow, I am going to show you how I styled each pair of trousers and what type of event I would wear each look to. Below I am wearing a pair of navy trousers which I loved because they’re not black. I paired them with navy heels to keep my legs looking long and one continuous flow. On top I added a chiffon top in a ‘sweatshirt’ style. I loved the baby pink and navy blue because they aren’t colors that are loud and obnoxious, but they also aren’t dull. I added a statement necklace for a little extra personality in my outfit. I would wear this outfit without the blazer to a job interview (being 17, all the jobs I can apply for I would not need to dress very formal). Adding the white blazer gives the outfit the formality and class needed to wear to a college, internship, or scholarship interview. Stay tuned for how I style the other two pairs of trousers!
